Where the Wild Roses Grow

Salle Belle Époque, Hermitage

“Where the wild Roses grow” 50th year old anniversary celebration at Hotel Hermitage, Monte-Carlo. Almost 100m2 of fresh flowers in Salle Belle Époque and famous international artists. Being a historical monument of principality, this room, with a signature of Gustave Eiffel is really a symbol of Golden Age.

Any decor here should  be minimal, classic and delicate, or it can easily become “too much”.The weather was changing every 20 min. Raining and sunny, raining and sunny.

The cocktail, that was planned on the terrace, with stylish furniture, soft colored settings, flower arch and thematic art objects was canceled and brought inside in the Salle Regeance. The only thing we decided to keep outside – raining, snowing or shine – were those beautifully decorated trees, totally naked in the beginning, and full of hanging flowers then.

Even soaked they were looking gorgeous. The celebration was a warm, candlelit dinner with family and close friends around the tables. Performing international artists: In-Grid, Laima Vaikule.
